Excellent link! Thank you very much for all the input. I have been reading di Grassi (well, Mr. Clement's essay in Masters of Medieval and Renaissance Martial Arts). I have found that, when reading the old English, it is best not to think about the letters and just keep reading. The words will make ...

Thanks again. You always are quick to respond and for that I am grateful. I am currently looking into the Di Grassi. I have Masters of Medieval and Renaissance Martial arts and there is something on it in that book ( as you probably know). That with the plates on the website should be a good help ...

Rapier and cut & thrust
Hello all!
Though my interest in RMA is not new, I mostly have leaned toward learning longsword. Recently, after a curious purchase involving Thibault, my interest in the rapier has been increasing. I was wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for a treatise out there that would be good for ...

Thanks all for you input thus far. I have yet to price the various materials I am pondering. I believe I am going to look into rubber mats after I measure as told by Thibault. I will most likely have to store them in my car, so I am actually wondering how multiple sections would work. I hope to use ...

On Thibault
I am curious to see who has worked through or read Academy of the Sword by Thibault, and thier thoughts. I find it interesting and very in depth. I honestly have never much thought about rapier combat; gravitating more towards the longsword and weapons of that era. What I have read in my recently ...

Sword in Two Hands by Brian R. Price

A friend of mine and I have recently begun our WMA studies, and as a terrible spendthrift I am always on the look out for a new book. Between the two of us we have probably six or so. In my browsing I have recently found Chivalry Bookshelf. One such book is a Fiore translation entitled ...
