I have some questions about the scottish basket hilt broadsword and scottish claymore.

I heard some one discribed that side sword[cut and thrust sowrd] had two sorts of.One kind is mainly for thrusting,they had narrow and thick blades, another is mainly for cutting,they had wide blades.
