We've invited Senior Free Scholar Gene Tausk of ARMA Houston to instruct, and there will be several GFS available to help out as well.
We are able to eat at the facility for lunch and can meet in the evening Saturday for an outing or other ideas people suggest. We have access to AV equipment of all kinds, so please feel free to bring those as well. Best to carpool to the site as parking is not free, but reasonable.
see you all there,
Keith, SA

We also have big fluffy throwing mats, so we can do the more dynamic over head throws (werfen) that most folks can't do for safety reasons. Our guests from the recent study day seemed to enjoy that aspect of the art.

We have been there for the last year and I have not been in the sauna, hot tub, or pool yet.

What is wrong with you?
Having those facilities at your disposal and not using them.

The Columbus study group has far and away the best training place I have ever seen. I can't believe how unbelievably uber-cool is Larkins Hall. Man, when I was an undergraduate, Larkins was a dingy place. Now, it's better than the Beverly Hills Health Club!
Besides the pools and saunas, the Columbus group also has access to great wrestling mats for grappling practice (green, green, green with envy...........
Congrats to Jaron and Jeff and company for getting this amazing facility for their use.
Yet another reason to visit the Buckeye State!

Bumping this thread to remind anyone who may be interested.
This event is fast approaching (time has been flying so fast I almost missed it). I presume the agenda is still the same?
Are there plenty of spots still open for us procrastinators?
Looking forward to being there.

Hi David!
Indeed, we are still on for 2/3-4/07 at www.rpac.osu.edu. Cost is 50$ per person. The instructor is now Stew Feil due to some scheduling challenges. We start Saturday 2/3 at 1:00 p.m. Contact me at krovos@hotmail.com for the address to mail the fee to and to arrange lodging if needed. Sunday will be more geared towards freeplay and sparring for those who are interested.

Thanks for a great event guys! That's quite a facility you have there.
Thanks to Jaron for putting some of us up in his home.
Thanks to Stew for making the trip and sharing his insights, stories, and displaying his abilities as a great example of how it's done.
The more people I meet in ARMA the happier I am to be a part of this organization.
