Can you provide us with a name? Simply mentioning that it was a German master leaves a lot of "potential" individuals.I recall reading on this forum about one of the German masters treating of nonlethal, showy techniques in his Fechtbuch, and I heard elsewhere that there was a German master who did such--though, of course, he clearly set these techniques apart from the more "normal," lethal ones. Can anybody confirm or deny this? I'd also like to know where to look for those plays if I can.
Thanks beforehand.
I see that Rasmusson indicates "show" in his transcription / translation:Isn't it Lekuchners messer? Something about hitting the opponents kidney with the flat if you didn't want to kill him, aswell as some showfight techniques?
I didn't remember the name, so I was asking for that as well. But the mention of Leckuechner/Lebkommer certainly strikes a chord. I'll go and check the link ASAP.Can you provide us with a name? Simply mentioning that it was a German master leaves a lot of "potential" individuals.
