after watching the video noticed that when the chinese manuals where shown they looked a lot like the wests. in the second part of the video a lot of cuts where shown again pretty close to the west. however a reverse grip and cut was demoed, so was wondering is there any thing like that in WMA?This guy seems to (I have no idea about his credibility) do the same thing with Chinese longsword: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &plindex=5
Though if you by the ARMA approach include pressure testing of techniques by full speed, full contact sparring, I have no idea if this guy does it, I would love to spar with an asian swordsman/woman though.
Ahh, Scott Rodell. From what I could tell he's trying to be as historical and authentic as possible, similar to ARMA in that sense. This guy seems to (I have no idea about his credibility) do the same thing with Chinese longsword: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &plindex=5
