ARMA San Francisco?

Almost six months ago I made this inquiry. Is there really no one else around here interested in WMA? I have plenty of equipment,I just need a few like minded souls to take up the endeavor.I have one practice partner already we only need one more to start a study group.

if no one responds or you cannot find anyone close by with the finder tool somewhere here on the site, then if you are willing to work at it, try to found a club at a college or university, or perhaps a city recreation center; eventually people with similar interest will find you waving a sword about.
meanwhile, do not give up hope to get to an ARMA event so you will have a better grasp on things we do, all the time going through various training tips posted on the site and found in many many threads here.

I suggest finding the nearest study group and make arrangements to visit them.

We hold public sessions every Saturday at Tahoe Tallac Field from 10am-1pm, and private sessions throughout the week at my house. If you're interested and nearby the Sacramento area, send me a PM and we'll have you come join us for a day.

I live on the border of Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill. I just became a member yesterday (still waiting on next step after payment). I was hoping to start a study group out this way at some point. Until then I will be making trips to Sac when I can. We could definitely get together and train if you decide to become a member, I'm sure I'm not more than 15 minutes from you.

Hello Everyone, i am about to get my first practice sword (Hanwei Tinker Blunt Longsword), i have a fencing mask, fencing jacket, biker elbow and knee/shim guards, but i have absolutely ZERO prior sword knowledge or experience (i only fenced for a few months..) and don't know where to start..... We are meeting at laskey park in concord today at 2;00pm , come on out if you can.I also attend davenriche acadamy in santa clara,they are a little pricey but a good group of guys.Kevin is the group leader out here in walnut creek.I havent met him personally,I will do that today,but I get the impresion he would be happy to have another member. Isn't that sword over $300? I wouldn't invest in a Hanwei with that kind of money; if I were you I'd save up another $100 or so and get an Albion instead.

The albion is 490,the tinker is 265 on kult of athena,I think it's a great mid priced sword.
