Kevin:Hey Sean,
I live on the border of Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill. I just became a member yesterday (still waiting on next step after payment). I was hoping to start a study group out this way at some point. Until then I will be making trips to Sac when I can. We could definitely get together and train if you decide to become a member, I'm sure I'm not more than 15 minutes from you.
Cheers,
Kevin

My e-mail is on a previous post ,feel free to contact me.Hello Everyone, i am about to get my first practice sword (Hanwei Tinker Blunt Longsword), i have a fencing mask, fencing jacket, biker elbow and knee/shim guards, but i have absolutely ZERO prior sword knowledge or experience (i only fenced for a few months..) and don't know where to start..... I live in San Jose, hope there can be an Bay Area club.
Isn't that sword over $300? I wouldn't invest in a Hanwei with that kind of money; if I were you I'd save up another $100 or so and get an Albion instead.Hello Everyone, i am about to get my first practice sword (Hanwei Tinker Blunt Longsword), i have a fencing mask, fencing jacket, biker elbow and knee/shim guards, but i have absolutely ZERO prior sword knowledge or experience (i only fenced for a few months..) and don't know where to start.....
