So I realise synthetic wasters might not be everyone's choice but they increase the chances of finding training partners as they are widely used. I have the Black Fencer synthetic longsword and based on what I think of build quality and handling I have just ordered their first venture into steel.

Can't find any reviews yet online but it looks the part, slightly industrial and basic and I'm sure it will hold up to my level of use, pell work, sparring and generally swinging it around.
Anyone seen it or know any more? Here's the specs:
