Has anyone else ever noticed a difference in range/distance perception between indoors and out?
I'd like to think the difference is because we're getting better, but that would be just crazy talk.

That zufechten to kreig range has been my bane as well. One thing we found to work is to mark an area on the floor in the duct tape that is in kreig/handarbeit range and keep your fight in that area. The last few weeks my new study group was training indoors. This week we were back outdoors. From looking at the video of the sparring in both environments, I noticed that it seemed like we were throwing strikes from well out of, to just barely in proper range while indoors. Today we were outdoors, and seemed to be making our attacks at a more appropriate range.
