I just ordered Ringecks Knightly art of the Longsword. Im planning on getting the Ochs Liechtenauer DVD as well. Would this be enough info to get me off to a good start?

Yes. Especially if your Ringeck is Lindholm's. Tobler's is okay, but I personally prefer Lindholm. I would get both volumes, myself. Also, "The Art of Combat," Forgeng's translation of Joachim Meyer's 1570 treatise.

I agree with Jay and would add that you should make an effort to find good training partners in your area and get to an ARMA study group session if there's a group nearby.There's no substitute for training with other serious martial artists.
