As long as you can keep it from rusting with oil, the rest is what it is. You may well have to tighten up the hilt from time to time.Does anyone have any info on storing weapons safely in a temperate zone? The Bosworth Longsword I have had the Guard come lose without having encountered a single target. I am not sure if the wood of the grip has shrunk slightly. I don't have a good interior wall to store it on. Most places I can lean it are outer walls and that means the sword will encounter temp changes. Any info would be great.
